Issuance of an attached card - free of charge (maximum 2 attached cards)
For non-resident individual customers, a one-time fee of AMD 15,000 is charged when opening the first bank account (current, card or deposit), except when the account is opened for the purpose of acquiring or subscribing to the Bank’s ordinary shares.

How long does it take to get the card?
After filling in the card and card account application at any branch of the Bank, the Card will be provided to you within a maximum of seven business days, and the Card activation will be carried out within a maximum of one business day from the date the Card is issued.
The Bank also offers urgent card issuance, re-issuance and replacement within 1 banking day. The service is available at all branches in Yerevan, while the card can be ordered at any branch of the Bank. The service is available only for cards without a paper PIN code, in accordance with the tariffs effective at the Bank at that time.
If you complete the card and card account application online, the card order will be processed after mutual agreement between you and the Bank.
What is required to receive the card?
After applying for the Card through any of the above methods, to receive the Card, you need to visit the branch of the Bank you have selected and present your identity document and your social security number¹.
1 It is recorded in the identification card of a citizen of the RA, in the identity documents of a stateless person permanently residing in the RA a refugee, in the previously issued social security card, as well as in the certificate issued by the state registry authority, or in the original certificate issued by the state registry authority regarding the issuance of a social security number.

The required documents are:
applicant’s (guarantor’s, pledger’s) identity document
certificate from the workplace* and/or income-verifying documents (as needed)
Documents confirming ownership of the proposed collateral, photos (for credit lines secured by collateral)
*At the time of submission, the documents must not be older than 15 days.

Note: Loan interest amounts are calculated based on the nominal interest rate. The annual percentage rate shows how much the use of the credit line will cost, provided that interest and other payments are made within the specified terms.
The card PIN code is provided in the option chosen by the cardholder when ordering the card:
Card re-issuance is performed until the 10th business day of the last month of the card’s validity period.
The decision on card re-issuance is made by the Bank based on the volume of transactions made with the card, payment of the card service fee and the funds available in the account, and in the case of cards with a credit line - also the number of past-due days.
The card is closed within three business days after all previous transactions made with the card are posted to the card account, provided that the account balance is sufficient to post the card transactions and charge the fees stipulated by the Bank’s tariffs.
Card closure is only possible after all monetary obligations have been fulfilled.
If, when applying to terminate the card, the cardholder does not return the card to the Bank, the cardholder bears full financial responsibility for transactions that do not require authorization (verification of the right to perform the transaction) made with the card from the moment of termination until the end of the card’s validity period.
A card may be retained by ATMs if:
after completing a cash withdrawal or balance inquiry, the customer does not take their card from the ATM,
there is a communication failure or other technical malfunction of the ATM.
If a Bank card is retained, it is returned to the customer by the branch that retained the card within 3 business days, upon the customer’s visit to the Bank with an identity document, unless the customer requests to receive the card at another branch.
If a card issued by another bank in Armenia is retained, it is returned to the customer within 3 business days upon visiting the Bank with an identity document. If the cardholder does not appear, the card is transferred to the issuing bank in accordance with the Bank’s current procedure.
If a card issued by a foreign bank is retained, it is returned to the cardholder within 1 business day upon visiting the Bank with an identity document. If the cardholder does not appear, the card is transferred to the issuing bank in accordance with the Bank’s current procedure.
The card can be unblocked only if the cardholder verbally or in writing confirms that the given transactions were made by them.
The Bank may unilaterally block the Card in the event of overdue obligations under the loan provided by the Card or other loans with the Bank, until the first business day following the date of repayment of the overdue obligations, as well as in other cases stipulated by the Agreement or provided for by the legislation of the RA.
The Bank may block the Card without notifying the Cardholder if there is a risk of fraudulent transactions with the Card.
The Cardholder has the right to dispute a transaction made with their Card within 55 (fifty-five) calendar days from the date of the transaction.
The Bank provides a substantiated response to the Cardholder within a maximum of 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of submission of the application.
The Bank is not liable for:
a) delayed, incorrect or unexecuted transactions arising due to the fault of merchants, service points or payment system, or due to technical reasons beyond the Bank’s reasonable control,
b) failures of cash withdrawal or payment transactions carried out through means not owned by the Bank, if the Bank is not at fault for the failure,
c) illegal transactions carried out with the Card or by using the Card data, if this is not a consequence of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement,
d) transactions carried out with a microprocessor (chip) card using a PIN code, if this is not a consequence of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement,
e) online transactions, if this is not a consequence of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement,
f) transactions carried out in violation of the security rules defined in the Agreement,
g) disputes arising between the Cardholder and merchants or service providers,
h) if the Account, PIN code, Card number, password and other card-related information become known to third parties for reasons beyond the Bank’s control.
Every month, the Bank informs the Cardholder about the transactions made with the Card during the previous month by providing a statement from the card account.
In case of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of obligations, information about the Cardholder will be provided to the credit registry of the Central Bank of Armenia and to ACRA Credit Reporting Bureau in accordance with the procedure defined by the legislation of the RA and the Bank’s internal legal acts.
