For online transactions, a one-time password system (3D Secure) is used.
The required documents are:
the applicant’s (guarantor’s, pledgor’s) identity document,
a certificate from the workplace* and/or documents confirming income (if required).
*The validity of the documents at the time of submission must not exceed 15 days.

Preferential lending terms
Customers without documented income who, over the last 5 months, have received transfers to their Transfer card at least 5 times through any of the fast money transfer systems, and whose average monthly transfer amount exceeds AMD 60,000, may obtain a loan or a credit line, provided that the amount requested by the customer together with their other current liabilities does not exceed AMD 500,000.
Note: interest on the loan is calculated based on the nominal interest rate. The annual effective interest rate shows how much the use of the credit line will cost, provided that interest and other fees are paid within the prescribed time limits.

For non-resident individual customers, a one-time fee of AMD 15,000 is charged upon opening the first bank account (current, card, or deposit), except in cases where the account is opened for the purpose of purchasing or subscribing to the Bank’s ordinary (common) shares.

How long does it take to obtain the card?
After completing the application for the card and the card account at any branch of the Bank, the Card will be issued to you within a maximum of seven business days, and the Card will be activated within a maximum of one business day from the date of issuance.
The Bank also provides an urgent card issuance, reissuance, and replacement service within 1 banking day. This service is available at all Yerevan branches; however, the card may be ordered at any branch of the Bank. The service is available only for cards without a paper PIN code, in accordance with the tariffs in effect at the Bank at that time.
If the application for the card and the card account is completed online, the Card will be ordered after mutual agreement between the Bank and you.
What is required to obtain the card?
The Card is issued to customers who regularly receive transfers from abroad without opening an account.
After applying for the Card by any of the above methods, to receive the Card it is necessary to visit the Bank branch of your choice and present an identity document and a social services number.¹
¹ It is recorded in the identification card of a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, in the identity documents of a stateless person or a refugee permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia, in the previously issued social security card, as well as in a certificate issued by the state registry authority or in a certificate (original) issued by the state registry authority confirming the absence of a social services number.

Your financial informant
The Card PIN code is provided in the form selected by the Cardholder when ordering the card:
Paper format, in which case the PIN code is provided in a sealed envelope;
Via SMS message, in which case a one-time six-digit code is sent to the phone number registered with the Bank for receiving SMS messages. This code is used to set a new PIN code via an ATM.
Card reissuance is carried out no later than the 10th business day of the last month of the card’s validity period.
The decision on card reissuance is made by the Bank based on the volume of transactions performed with the card, payment of the card servicing fee, and the available balance on the account, and, in the case of cards with a credit line, also the number of overdue days.
The card is closed within three business days after all previously performed card transactions are posted to the card account, provided that the account balance is sufficient to post such transactions and to collect the fees stipulated by the Bank’s tariffs.
The card may be closed only after all monetary obligations have been fully settled.
If, upon submitting an application for termination of the card, the card is not returned to the Bank, the Cardholder bears full financial liability for transactions performed with the card that do not require authorization (verification of transaction eligibility) from the date of card termination until the expiration of the card’s validity period.
The card may be seized by ATMs if:
after a cash withdrawal or balance inquiry transaction, the customer fails to take the card from the ATM;
an ATM communication failure or other technical malfunction occurs.
In case of seizure of the Bank’s cards, if the cardholder visits the Bank with an identity document within 3 business days, the card is returned to the customer by the branch that seized the card, unless the customer expresses a wish to receive the card from another branch.
In case of seizure of cards issued by other banks in Armenia, if the cardholder visits the Bank with an identity document within 3 business days, the card is returned to the customer. If the cardholder does not appear, in accordance with the Bank’s current procedure, the card is transferred to the issuing bank.
In case of seizure of a foreign bank’s card, if the cardholder visits the Bank with an identity document within 1 business day, the card is returned to the cardholder. If the cardholder does not appear, in accordance with the Bank’s current procedure, the card is transferred to the issuing bank.
The card may be unblocked only if the cardholder verbally or in writing confirms that the given transactions were performed by the cardholder.
The Bank may unilaterally block the card in case of overdue obligations under the credit provided by the card or other loans with the Bank, until the first business day following the repayment of the overdue obligations, as well as in other cases defined by the Agreement or provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
The Bank may block the card without notifying the cardholder if there is a risk of fraudulent transactions being carried out using the card.
The cardholder has the right to dispute a transaction performed with the card within 55 (fifty-five) calendar days from the date of performance of the transaction.
Within a maximum of 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of submission of the application, the Bank provides the cardholder with a reasoned response.
If the transaction disputed by the cardholder is a cash withdrawal transaction, it is subject to satisfaction by the Bank only if the bank servicing the given ATM or cash dispensing point acknowledges the fact of non-dispensing of cash.
If the transaction disputed by the cardholder is a payment transaction, a payment made via the internet, or a payment transaction carried out by presenting the card details, it is subject to satisfaction by the Bank if, within the dispute process provided for by the rules of the Payment System, the Bank recovers the amount of the disputed transaction from the servicing bank.
If, within the dispute process provided for by the rules of the payment system servicing the card, the Bank decides not to continue the dispute process, but the cardholder wishes to apply to the final stage of the dispute process by applying to the arbitration committee of the respective Payment System, then the fees established for applying to the arbitration committee, as well as the expenses incurred by the Bank in case the Payment System issues a decision in favor of the other party, shall be reimbursed by the cardholder.
The bank is not liable for:
a) delayed, incorrect, or unperformed transactions caused by the fault of trade and service outlets or the Payment System, or by technical reasons beyond the Bank’s reasonable control,
b) failure of cash withdrawal or payment transactions carried out using funds not belonging to the Bank, if the Bank is not at fault for the failure,
c) illegal transactions carried out using the card or card details, if this is not the result of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations defined by the Agreement,
d) transactions carried out using a PIN code with a microprocessor (chip) card, if this is not the result of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations defined by the Agreement,
e) transactions carried out via the internet, if this is not the result of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations defined by the Agreement,
f) transactions performed in violation of the security rules defined by the Agreement,
g) disputes arising between the cardholder and trade and service outlets,
h) disclosure of the account, PIN code, card number, password, and other card-related information to third parties due to reasons beyond the Bank’s control.
Each month, the Bank informs the cardholder about the transactions performed with the card during the previous month by providing a statement from the card account.
In case of non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of obligations, information about the cardholder shall be provided to the Credit Registry of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and to the ACRA credit bureau in accordance with the procedure defined by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and the Bank’s internal legal acts.
