The card PIN code is provided in the option selected by the cardholder when ordering the card:

• in paper form, in which case the PIN code is provided in a sealed envelope,

• by SMS message, in which case a one-time six-digit code is sent to the cardholder's phone number registered with the Bank for receiving SMS messages, which is used to set a new PIN code via an ATM.

The card is reissued by the 10th business day of the last month of the card's validity period.

The decision to reissue a card is made by the Bank based on the volume of transactions performed with the card, card service fee payments and funds available on the account, and in the case of cards with a credit line, also the number of overdue days.

The card is closed within three business days after all previously performed card transactions have been processed in the card account, provided that the account balance is sufficient to process the card transactions and charge the commission fees stipulated by the Bank's tariffs for them.

The card can be closed only after all monetary obligations have been fulfilled.

In case of failure to return the card to the Bank when submitting an application for card termination, the cardholder bears full financial responsibility for transactions performed with the card that do not require certification (verification of the authority to perform the transaction) after the card termination until the expiration of the card's validity period.

Card confiscation is carried out by ATMs if:

• the customer has not taken their card from the ATM after a cash withdrawal/balance inquiry operation,

• there has been an ATM communication failure or other technical malfunction.

In case of confiscation of bank cards, if the customer presents himself to the Bank with an identification document within 3 working days, the card is returned to the customer by the branch that confiscated the card, unless the customer expresses a desire to receive the card from another branch.

In case of confiscation of cards of another Armenian bank, if the customer presents himself to the Bank with an identification document within 3 working days, the card is returned to the customer. In case of failure of the cardholder to present himself to the Bank, the card is transferred to the issuing bank in accordance with the Bank's current procedure.

In case of confiscation of a foreign bank card, the card will be returned to the cardholder upon presentation of an identification document to the Bank within 1 business day. In case of failure of the Cardholder to appear, the card will be transferred to the issuing bank in accordance with the Bank’s current procedure.

The Card may be unblocked only if the Cardholder confirms orally or in writing that the transactions in question were made by him/her.

The Bank may unilaterally block the Card in the event of overdue liabilities on the loan provided by the Card or other loans in the Bank, until the first business day following the date of repayment of the overdue liabilities, as well as in other cases specified in the Agreement or provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

The Bank may block the Cardholder's Card without notifying the Cardholder if there is a risk of fraudulent transactions being made with the Card.

The Cardholder has the right to appeal a transaction made with his Card within 55 (fifty-five) calendar days from the date of the latter.

The Bank shall provide the Cardholder with a substantiated response within a maximum of 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of submission of the application if:

• The transaction appealed by the Cardholder is a cash withdrawal transaction, it is subject to satisfaction by the Bank only if the bank servicing the ATM or cash dispensing point accepts the fact of non-dispensing of cash.

• The transaction appealed by the Cardholder is a payment transaction, payment made via the Internet or payment by presenting Card data, it is subject to satisfaction by the Bank if, within the framework of the appeal process provided for by the Payment System Rules, the Bank receives back the amount of the appealed transaction from the servicing bank.

• The Bank decides not to continue the appeal process within the framework of the appeal process provided for by the rules of the payment system servicing the Card, but the Cardholder wishes to apply to the final stage of the appeal process - to apply to the arbitration committee of the given Payment System, then the commission fees established for applying to the arbitration committee, as well as the expenses incurred by the Bank in the event that the Payment System makes a decision in favor of the other party, are reimbursed by the Cardholder.

The bank is not liable for:
a) delayed, incorrect or non-executed transactions that occurred due to the fault of the points of sale and service or the Payment System or for technical reasons that were beyond the reasonable control of the Bank,

b) for the failure of cash withdrawal or payment transactions carried out with funds not belonging to the Bank, if the Bank was not at fault for the failure.

c) for illegal transactions carried out using the Card or Card data, if this was not a consequence of the Bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement.

d) operations performed using a PIN code on a microprocessor (chip) card, unless this was a consequence of the Bank's failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement.

e) operations performed via the Internet, unless this was a consequence of the Bank's failure to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement.

f) operations performed in violation of the security rules set forth in the Agreement.

g) disputes arising between the Cardholder and trade and service points.The Bank is not responsible for

h) Account, PIN code, Card number, password and other information about the Card becoming known to third parties for reasons beyond the control of the Bank.

Every month, the Bank informs the Cardholder about the operations performed with the Card during the previous month by providing him with a statement from the card account.

In case of failure to fulfill or improper fulfillment of obligations, information about the Cardholder will be provided to the Credit Register of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and the ACRA Credit Bureau in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and the internal legal acts of the Bank.
